HMRC has confirmed that the main Self Assessment helpline will be open on Saturday 31st January 2026, from 9am – 4pm so that they can support taxpayers ahead of the deadline.

Please note: the Agent Dedicated Line (ADL) will remain closed over the weekend.

If you’re cutting it fine or need last-minute guidance, this extra opening may help – but queues are likely!
