From 1 Jan 2024, UK platforms must report seller info to HMRC

Platforms affected include:
eBay, Vinted, Etsy, Depop, Airbnb, Uber, Deliveroo, Amazon, Upwork & More

In 2024, If you:
Sell 30+ items Or
Earn over £1,700

Your name, Income, bank info and (for rentals) property data will be shared with HMRC by 31 Jan 2025

This isn’t a new tax, but HMRC is cracking down.
If your profit exceeds £1,000, you may need to register for Self Assessment
